Spring visit home to California :)

Spring/summer has been super busy, to say the least. It's possibly the most busy summer I've ever had (although being engaged while working and taking the PCAT last summers is a close second).

Max took the MCAT. We both completed our primary applications to medical/pharmacy school. And now we're just waiting for secondaries to come around. Max has gotten a few back so it's getting busier again.

After winter semester, I went home to California for a few days to see my sister, Sonhee, who just got home from her mission from Seoul Korea. It felt like she had never left before! She was the same old Sonhee (but 10x more spiritual). I felt bad Max couldn't go because he was studying for the MCAT but it worked out well because he ended up doing well on it, which we're happy about.

Like we do pretty much every time we go home, we had a family photoshoot! Thanks to my tripod and remote, we got some pretty good ones. Enjoy! :)

LOVE this one of my dad :)
I love how my dad will pop his leg and play along with us girls being girly :)
Mindawg got flowers for being chosen as the Feast of Lanterns!
we like to be matchy matchy :) it's a cho family thing :)
 Candid! :)

Needless to say, I love my famil-hee! Sad Max wasn't there for the pictures, but I'm sure we'll have another family photoshoot soon :)

Winter Semester Continued

So to continue on with our semester...

16. BrickOven.
All you can eat. 'Nuff said.

17. Lu'au
Every winter I participate in BYU Lu'au. A bunch of students practice for at least two hours each Saturday and eventually put on 2 performances. All the money raised during the performances goes towards the Multicultural Student Services department so they can give out student scholarships.

This semester I did it with one of my best friends, Brooke. It was loads of fun!

18. Intramural Innertube Water Polo
Playing was absolutely hilarious. We never won a single game. And most of the time the other team doubled our score (if not more). It was loads of fun though, especially since most of the team members were also on our soccer team. I can't wait to play again next year!

These are some pictures from our last game.

Like I've said countless times before, Max is silly. He's just a big goofball.

Team picture! (I couldn't play the last game because I had my Lu'au performance the same night but I cheered them on the last few minutes of our last game!

Aaand afterwards the boys decided to go off the high dive. I would NEVER do it. But Max had lost of fun doing it!

19. Pi(e) Day!
Last year our ward had a pie night for Pi Day. Me and Max made a delicious chocolate banana cream with raspberries pie. And we won most creative! We recreated the pie this year, and I think we'll make it a tradition for the future too :)

20. St. Patricks Day!
I always practice my picture taking on Sundays. Here are our St. Patrick's Day pictures!
So handsome, wouldn't you say ;)

I didn't want my picture taken... >.<

Max stole my green bow at night after we had changed.
And then he pinched me since I wasn't wearing any green. Cheap shot :P

21. Phi Kappa Phi
So proud of my smart hubby!

22. Boys Breakfast at Kneaders
Derek Toone came down from IF to visit. So naturally we went to breakfast and stuffed our faces with as much french toast as we could. It's always a blast hanging out with all of my Max's guy friends! Gotta love boys-mornings-out+Jeehee :)

23. EASTER!
For easter Max and I hosted a little dinner with some of our single and married friends. We hand made 150 Mandu (korean potstickers) and they turned out delish! [and also super pretty]

Easter Morning Max surprised me with egg dying kits! I was so excited! We got to do it before we went to church, since our ward doesn't meet until 1:40pm.

Our Masterpieces!

I absolutely adore that face. Idk. It's just so funny and cute.

Easter Flowers. Yeah. Like who gets flowers on Easter?
Well me apparently.
I'm spoiled and I love it! We always have some sort of fresh flowers in our apartment :)

24. Mission Reunions!

25. General Conference.
We got tickets for the Sunday Morning Session. It's always fun to hear all the talks in person. But it also makes me super tired, since we have to wake up so early to get there. We also got to hear Music and the Spoken word before the session. So fun!
I only brought my zoom lens, so this was the best picture we got :P

Ran into Sister Lee on Temple Square!

such pretty blossoms :)
 26. Finals Fun Day.
Usually during finals I'm super stressed. But this year I was lucky enough to only have a few finals and was not stressed [mostly]. Max got done with all of his finals in 2 days so that he could start his hard core studying for the MCAT.
But before he had to start studying, we took a day off and called it finals fun day :)
Here are pictures of our bowling adventures that day!

I barely won by two points! yee!

We also got to play CanJam with Greg, Becca, and Ryan. It was a fun game that I had never heard of before. We're sad Ryan is taking off for med school and Greg and Becca have moved up to Bountiful, but it was fun hanging out with them this school year!

And so ended our winter semester finals week!
I still have lots to post about since summer has started...but more on that later :)
